TranslateMedia Speaks VoIP In 52 Languages
TranslateMedia is the lifeblood of companies working in a range of different countries beyond the UK requiring detailed translations of documents. It was founded in response to a growing demand for an up-to-date service-orientated agency that can respond speedily and with innovation.
TranslateMedia builds and maintains customised corporate translation service web portals. It has 950 translators in its network covering 52 languages used in industry sectors such as law, health, finance and media/marketing.
The company’s Matt Train found Gradwell on the Internet. “As our company was expanding internationally at the time, we needed a system that would offer the benefits of cheap international calls – particularly transatlantic calls – so that our London office could fully support our colleagues in New York during its inception.
“We also needed a service that would allow us to route calls to a UK number through to someone on our network in our Paris office, a UK project manager who speaks fluent French and wanted to move to our office in the French capital. This meant he could continue to service UK clients beyond the English Channel.”
More than a dozen people are employed by TranslateMedia in project management and sales - in Brussels, New York, London and Paris; they work with a network of more than 1,500 in-country translators located around the world.
“The person at Gradwell I spoke to when shopping for a good service listened closely and provided a detailed quotation. I was not entirely sure what we needed at first – but Gradwell responded well, and the service evolved.”
“Gradwell was always efficient and offered help without delays, and with good humour.”
TranslateMedia opted for a hosted PBX Centrex service, with phones also provided by Gradwell. The set-up process was extremely simple and the online interface quick to understand and easy to use.
Analysis and history of Gradwell’s VoIP service:
“We have free international calls between our offices, which allows us to work very closely with offices in France and New York to make the most of our network; being able to offer clients a seamless service from any office in our network backs-up our global project management and workflow tools – and that means we can work collaboratively, to give clients the best possible service.”
“Gradwell is the telephony piece of the jigsaw! Its service fits perfectly with our business model,” comments Matt.
“Some problems were encountered during set-up, but simple calls to Gradwell’s support team ironed them out and we were back-on-track quickly and without hassle.”
