£18,000 per year

As a new and fast moving technology, VoIP is a demanding product to provide and our customer support team is regularly faced with evaluating new and different types of network routers, phones, broadband services etc. to make sure it all fits together correctly so our clients can make phone calls.

We have won a number of awards in 2004 and 2005 in various DTI schemes including “Best use of Broadband” for our VoIP product and “Best Teleworking Company” and “Best Online Customer Service” for both of which we were highly commended.

Prior experience of the Internet, IT and Telecoms Sectors will be highly beneficial as our core business is selling outsourced telecoms, email and web hosting services to IT consultants, designers, media agencies and other small and medium sized technology based businesses.

About the job

Your responsibilities will be developing our web based control panels, online store and customer management systems which are used to purchase, provision and deliver our services.

You will need to have a good familiarity with web based programming in php and mysql, and will have an active interest in AJAX, Javascript, CSS and other web development techniques.

You will be well organised, enthusiastic about new technology, eager to learn and good at asking questions. You will be formally trained in Computer Science or Software Engineering and have a good appreciation of programming and database skills and techniques.

This position will appeal to those with a keen interest in the latest internet and telecoms technology.

Salary is £18,000 per year. We also offer a range of benefits (including free parking in Bath).

This is a full time position (37 hours a week, 9-5 or 10-6, M-F), based at our Bath offices in Cheltenham St, Bath, reporting to our Senior Systems Developer. You will receive 24 days holiday per year.

We are also operate a 24×7 business and we may ask you to become part of our on-call team to ensure the continual running of our business.
