Customer Service Manager
Gradwell dot com Limited is a small but growing Internet Services Provider who focuses on out sourced email and web service solutions. We are currently launching a range of very exciting Internet telephony services.
As a virtual company, centred around the Bath/Corsham area, a team of 5 work from home. The continual expansion of our customer base leads us to require additional help with Customer Service. We require a mature and competent IT professional to act as the first point of contact for customers, answering emails and telephone calls during the UK Business day and liaising with the technical and development staff as appropriate.
The currently operates as a virtual entity with a team of 5 (3 full, 2 part time) spread across the UK, although the future focus is likely to be in the South West, e.g. Bath and Corsham. Our current trading address is in Bath.
Well organised and coming from an IT background, probably with experience in supporting users, you will have a good understanding of the Internet and Email in particular. Familiarity with a range of web browsers, email clients and ftp clients will be essential.
With strong written and spoken english and a good telephone manner, you will also have experience of managing client expectations and appreciating the importance that prompt resolution of issues makes to customers. Having 20 issues a day to respond to won’t faze you.
Some familiarity with unix and web page creation will also be helpful.
As a growing company, we see great potential for you to help us grow the day-to-day operational side of the business, but initially we want you to work with our existing team for 3 days a week (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday).
This is a tele-working position with a strong focus on the 9 until 5 business day. You should be comfortable working from home. You should also have access to broadband ADSL (which, with telephone, will be supplied). We would like you to live in the Bath/Corsham area.
There is potential for, in 12-months time, you to lead the creation of a permanent customer service team.

Salary is likely to be circa 15,000 pa, plus ADSL, for a 3 day week, with potential to rise to 20-25K in 12 months time as you become Customer Service Manager.
